OK folks. time for some straightforward fashion imagery

Danielle, lovely girl - very tall and built like a catwalk model,

We ended up taking these pictures on a lovely autumn evening, with the light fading by the minute.

picture taking ceased when the light level fell too low.

(because it was then quite dark . . . . . )

Danielle boxed up in some strange stone seat built into a hillside, looks quite odd,

not the girl - the picture . ..

oh god . . I've put my foot in it again, she'll probably whack me over the head for hinting that she looks odd . .

nice picture - unbelievably difficult to take . ..

why ? you ask . . .

well - Danielles father (a really nice guy, who provided transport for the shoot),
suddenly found the building in the background to be very interesting,
this was at the same time that we were using it as a backdrop for the picture.

he was wandering about the front of the building as we took the pictures.

he's in the picture, just behind Danielles head, I did a strange sideways dance,
keeping the wandering man behind the girl and firing the camera as I moved sideways.

God wot a life. anyhow - it kinda worked - and he doesn't show.

Ah, the beauty of using expensive lenses . . .

I like this sort of shot - blow the background to hell and concentrate on the subject.

lots of fashion photographers use this technique - all it calls for is a little bit of skill and imagination.

Anyhow - more pictures are to follow on this section of the website when I get a chance to update it.
